Maria  Pia de Vito, extraordinary Italian vocalist, songwriter and Neapolitan musician well-known outside the Italian borders and linked to the international jazz, between experimentation and research. "Down Beat" accepted her in the category "Beyond Artist" next to Cesaria Evora, Caetano Veloso, Joni Mitchell. A career that boasts eminent collaborations and an endless discography. Her latest work is titled "Mind the Gap" (2009 - Emarcy). A very elaborated work (disc) which places great attention to the side of composition and lyrics.
