Great pianist among the most respected in the international jazz scene, the guest of honor EJE 2011 Rita Marcotulli is presented in a trio with Argentinian saxophonist Javier Girotto and the undisputed master accordionist Luciano Biondini in the new project produced by S'Ardmusic. Music from and inspired by Rita Marcotulli compositions for cinema and processed by this extraordinary trio for this new album. An area on which the artist moves from years with remarkable enthusiasm, as evidenced by major awards, among them the Ciak d'Oro and the Silver Ribbon, recently received for his soundtrack to the film Basilicata coast to coast directed by Rocco Papaleo, and the last work on the French movie of Francois Truffaut.
