Sponsorship Proposal

From May 27 to May 29 the European Jazz Expo comes back to Cagliari with a new edition that represents the beginning of a metamorphosis. Instituted in 2004 by Jazz in Sardinia, during the years the EJE earned national and international respect and success thanks to an innovating formula that joins together pure entertainment and business, events for the general public and appointments for experts, new talents' performances and showcases, original production previews and opportunities to meet and exchage ideas.

The European Jazz Expo is sponsored and funded by the EC, the MIBAC, the local government authorities (Department of Education, Culture, Information, Entertainment and Sports and the Department of Tourism Handicraft and Trade) and the Banco di Sardegna Foundation.

Over 50 performances during the three days of the festival starting from 11.00 am to midnight in the natural theaters of Monte Claro Park.

Affixing and distribution

LARGE FORMAT POSTERS, 600x300 cm, on billboards in Cagliari, Sassari, Nuoro, Alghero, Olbia.
THE Jazzine N.35,000 (official festival newspapaper) tabloid format, 44 pages, full color, containing the festival program; articles, information, cards and photos of the performers, illustration of the acts taken with strategic partners.
THE Jazzine is free, distributed to the Expo's visitors and in the entire province of Cagliari.

EJE PRIZE: “PIETRA SONORA”

Park of Monteclaro May 27 at 7 pm
Rita Marcotulli and Elena Ledda, two first rate Italian singers, deeply linked to the history of Jazz in Sardinia, will be awarded the EJE Prize, “Pietra Sonora” by the sculptor Pinuccio Sciola.

JAZZINSANSPERATE:

Two unique nights in the magical atmosphere of the village-museum of San Sperate with its “murales” and the Pinuccio Sciola's mysterious “Pietre Sonore”.

SHOWCASES

International talent showcases, all day open, free admission; presentation of the winners of the Certamen De Jazz Palma Comercial 2011 of Palma de Mallorca.

ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONS

Presentation of original productions producted by Jazz in Sardinia and S'ardmusic: Mario Brai, Mauro Palmas and Rita Marcotulli.
